DataLinQ
Complex specialist data processing systems are notoriously cumbersome and difficult to directly link into an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or PACS-2.
Compatibility problems between systems often make integration impossible. As a result, the exchange of information often takes place by unsecured e-mail, letter or fax and in rare cases it’s even transcribed. The resulting loss of productivity can lead to costly medical errors.
This is a common problem for imaging applications, which are being integrated into a PACS 2 environment. The wide variety of medical data from for instance pacemaker programmers should be integrated through a simple, reliable method into central databases like an EMR or a PACS-2. A universal system to solve these problems has been long awaited.
Fysicon is proud to announce that they have now developed a solution. Fysicon has now launch its universal system "DataLinQ”. After extensive research DataLinQ™ is the link between complex specialist data processing systems and the healthcare information systems.
DataLinQ™
DataLinQ™ is a combination of hard- and software facilitating the integration of proprietary systems to central databases. It converts reports to various protocols such as XML, HL7, DICOM Encapsulated file, SQL format, and convert video to Mpeg 2, Mpeg 4, AVI, DICOM etc.. DataLinQ™ even accepts DICOM work lists in order to enable full integration into your order-and scheduling system.
DatalinQ™ supports various input formats:
Centronics;
USB;
Mini USB;
TCP/IP;
RS-232;
Analog video (BNC) - in version 2 RGB acquisition will be possible.
